What do I need to bring to get San Antonio pet vaccinations?
We don’t require any paperwork, but strongly recommend bringing past vaccination history with you. This helps our team make the best recommendation when it comes to what pet protection package your dog or cat needs.
We require all dogs to be on a leash and all cats in a carrier.
What payment methods do you take?
We take cash, credit and debit!
How much do puppy vaccinations cost?
Puppy vaccination packages range from $45 – $70 depending on the age of the puppy. We recommend starting puppy shots at 6 – 8 weeks of age with the DHPP vaccination, dewormer, and heartworm prevention, which is $45 at all Low Cost Pet Vax clinics. At 10 – 12 weeks of age we recommend the second round of puppy shots with the DHPPL and Bordetella shots, deworming, and heartworm prevention for $65. When the puppy reaches 3 to 4 months of age, they’re old enough for the final set of puppy vaccines with the Rabies, DHPPL booster, and one more round of deworming and heartworm prevention for $70.
Will I receive proof of vaccination?
Low Cost Pet Vax provides paperwork with proof of vaccination on-site, as well as other needed documentation such as Rabies certificates if Rabies vaccinations are administered.

How do I register pets with the city of San Antonio?
In the city of San Antonio, your pet only needs to have a registered microchip (with your current information) and a current Rabies vaccination in order to be legal. While Low Cost Pet Vax clinics don’t handle the actual registration, our pet vaccination clinics provide everything that pets need to be registered in the city of San Antonio, including microchipping for $35 (with tax).
