POSITIONS AVAILABLE

We are constantly seeking great, passionate individuals to join our team. Attitude is what we look for first, and experience second. We do provide training for all positions, but staff are expected to gain all skills listed within the first 30 – 90 day trial period of working at the clinics, and payrate will be adjusted according to experience and skill level. Vaccination Clinic Positions (Part-time)

Bilingual Receptionists – $20+hr ($13-$15/hr guaranteed base + commission pay)

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients. Go above and beyond in answering questions with a friendly, compassionate and helpful attitude.
  • Explain services thoroughly and completely to every client.
  • Spot any mistakes or incomplete paperwork. Assure that all information necessary is provided for client records.
  • Assist the team in setting up and taking down at end of clinic.
  • Assist the team where necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, drawing up vaccine, restraining pets, translating for veterinarian, and more according to skill level and appropriate need.
  • Love on clients & the pets that we see at each clinic!

Bilingual Technicians – $21+/hr ($13-$18/hr guaranteed base + commission pay)

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients. Go above and beyond in answering questions with a friendly, compassionate and helpful attitude.
  • Assist the veterinarian in all duties.
  • Restrain animals confidently and safely for services provided.
  • Draw up vaccine in a thorough and responsible way, taking care to label all vaccines drawn up and ensuring quality care.
  • Administer vaccinations in a thorough, safe, and responsible manner, according to our guidelines for vaccination protocol in order to make the experience as pleasant as possible for all involved.
  • Draw blood for heartworm tests and administer other services such as microchips in a thorough, safe and responsible manner, that invokes confidence in clients and all the staff involved.
  • Provide nail trims, as appropriate.
  • Assist the team in setting up and taking down at end of clinic.
  • Translate for veterinarian as needed.
  • Love on clients & the pets that we see at each clinic!

Bilingual Checkout Staff –$20+hr ($13-$15/hr guaranteed base + commission pay)

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients. Go above and beyond in answering questions with a friendly, compassionate and helpful attitude.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and thoroughness of all paperwork provided to client
  • Provide additional products as well as information about products such as heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative
  • Accept payment, being careful to enter in all charges accurately and keeping track of payments taken in thoroughly
  • Assist the team as needed, including answering questions, restraining pets, and helping with setting up and taking down the clinic as appropriate
  • Love on clients & the pets that we see at each clinic

Team lead positions also available for additional pay on top of regular rate!

Veterinarians – Pay negotiable. Minimum $650-$950 (5-7 hour shifts).

what do we do?

Low Cost Pet Vax provides affordable pet vaccinations & other basic preventative services in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We focus on providing excellent customer service at excellent prices, in particular working to serve the growing Hispanic community in DFW.

what positions are available?

We need customer service staff, receptionists, and technicians as we continue to grow! We provide training for all positions, so no experience is necessary, although we do prefer it (and we can start at a higher payrate if you have experience). Scheduling is 8:30 – 4:30 on Saturdays and 11:30 – 4:30 on Sundays.

what are the requirements?

Appplicants MUST be bilingual, MUST be willing to drive throughout DFW on weekends, MUST have great attitudes and love both people and animals! We also have a strong focus on being informative & friendly, so applicants must be willing to learn and be ready to provide helpful, cheerful information and answers to our clients.

what’s the payrate?

You’ll earn $20+/hr working any of our vaccination clinics. We pay a starting rate of $12-$13/hr and all staff receive a commission pay that adds an extra $6-$10/hr to their base pay. There’s no limit on how much you can make – not only do we raise pay rates as you continue working with us, cross train, and bring more value to our team, but you also earn bonuses based on how busy the clinic is. No experience is required, we provide training! If you have experience working vaccination clinics, your pay will start at a higher rate!
