Our mission at Low Cost Pet Vax is to provide affordable pet vaccinations in Texas, and now we’re expanding to Miami, Florida! The cost of pet care is rising dramatically in Florida – and pets are paying the price. Miami dogs and cats face exposure to many deadly and contagious diseases. As recently as December of 2022, several feral cats tested positive for Rabies in Broward county. Not only is Rabies deadly to our pets, the deadly disease can easily spread to humans through a scratch or bite. The only way to prevent Rabies from spreading to more Miami pets is increasing vaccination rates across Florida. We make it convenient and affordable to vaccinate your pet against Rabies – drop by any location for a Rabies shot for only $10 at all Miami clinics!
How Miami Mobile Vax Clinics Work
Step 1: Find a low cost pet vax clinic near you
Check our Low Cost Pet Vax schedule page to see when and where a low cost pet shot location will be in your area. We partner with local Miami businesses to offer our mobile vaccine clinics at different areas in Miami every weekend.
Step 2: Visit us when we’re in your area
You don’t need to book an appointment. Instead, just visit us when we’re open near you. All locations are staffed by fast, friendly team members who will answer your questions and help you pick the best pet vaccination package for your needs during your visit.
Step 3: Sign up when you arrive
Sign up is fast and easy, and once you have an account with us, all your information is saved for future visits. You’re automatically checked in once you sign up. In fact, you can even sign up and wait in your car until it’s time for your pet to get services – we’re automatically saving your spot in line and will text or email you when it’s time to come up.
Step 4: Our team will text you updates and let you know when it’s time to come up
We’ll keep you updated on your place in line and let you know when it’s time for your visit to start. Our team will work with you to help you select the best pet shots package or individual pet vaccinations for your needs. Once you’ve selected and approved your pet’s vaccination plan, our skilled vet technician and veterinarian team will provide services on-site. The process is quick, easy, and most pets find the experience much less stressful than a traditional vet clinic.
Step 5: Checkout and receive products and your pet’s full medical record
Checkout is quick and easy. We even have affordable heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative options on-site for your convenience, or you can opt to have products shipped to your home automatically. We take cash, credit, debit and Apple Pay. Once you’ve checked out, you’ll receive a full record of your visit, including all medical records and a receipt.
Our Low Cost Pet Vaccination Services in Miami
All Miami Low Cost Pet Vax clinics offer affordable pet vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, microchipping, and deworming.
Rabies Vaccinations
We offer Rabies vaccinations at all Miami clinics for only $10! Vaccinating your pet against Rabies is required in the state of Florida, and is also necessary to protect both yourself and your pets from the deadly disease. Several feral cats tested positive in Broward county as recently as 2022.
Bordetella (Kennel Cough) Vaccination
We also vaccinate against kennel cough, also known as Bordetella or canine infectious respiratory disease complex (CIRDC). This highly contagious disease spreads through dog-to-dog contact. In Miami, kennel cough has closed the Miami-Dade animal shelter and other pet community services multiple times, due to how quickly it can be an issue.
Leptospiroris Vaccination
Leptospirosis or Lepto is a very dangerous bacterial disease that loves the Florida climate and Florida pets. It can be found in standing or slow moving water, or can be spread by other animals such as squirrels, mice and rats.
Distemper/Parvo Vaccination
Our DHPP vaccination protects dogs against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, and Parainfluenza. These diseases are deadly to dogs, and Florida specifically has had recent outbreaks of both distemper and parvo.
Heartworm Testing & Heartworm Preventative
Florida has 16 unique species of mosquitoes that can carry heartworms – and, just like us, mosquitoes love the Miami weather. Unfortunately, this means that heartworms is a serious problem for Florida dogs. We highly recommend year-round heartworm preventative for dogs and cats in Florida.
